Our room was basic but had everything we needed. It was clean, though it could use a bit of TLC — especially with some paint touch-ups and small repairs around the room. The bed was comfortable, and the bedding was clean, but I wish there had been an extra cushion. The one provided was very large and not comfortable to sleep on. The small kitchen was well equipped and had everything we needed to prepare a quick meal, which was very convenient. The bathroom was clean with good water pressure in the shower. The only downside was a very strong and strange smell that lingered in the bathroom, which was quite unpleasant. We also reported to reception that one of the wall bedside lights wasn’t working and needed a new bulb as it was keep flickering , but unfortunately, this was never fixed during our seven-day stay. It felt like there wasn’t much attention from the staff to guest requests, which was disappointing. Overall, the hotel felt more like student accommodation or a residential unit than a typical hotel, but it was quiet at night. The location was good — about a 25-minute walk to the old town and just 10 minutes to local bakeries and supermarkets.
I hate leaving bad reviews, but I would not recommend this hotel. Fortunately, the staff were lovely and helped us through it all, but we walked into our room and it smelled incredibly damp and musky. When we showered the first morning, our room flooded with water due to a pipe leak. The front desk staff gave us a very large handicap room after the incident, but what we also didn’t know was that the water in the first room wasn’t drinkable. So we were left with horrible gastro for 24-48 hours. Not ideal, but I’m hoping they can see our review and make sure the next guest has a better stay!
1 spent 1 night here. The room was clean. I just feel that the bus stop is quite far from the hotel. Or maybe in general in Annecy the distance for every bus stop is far. But all good.
We stayed here for the weekend of the 15th march for two nights. The hotel in itself is nice.|It’s about a 15 minute walk into the centre so location is pretty good. |The room was your standard hotel room with everything you need from a comfy bed with black out shutters which were great. Tea and coffee making facilities and a mini kitchen with fridge so you can’t go wrong.|The staff were brilliant on the reception, very helpful including helping us print out our tickets to go see the football. |Didn’t attend breakfast but I believe you can pay on arrival for that. Would recommend if you are visiting for a few days and want to look around the touristy stuff.
Clean but old. That can make the place seems run down. It's well equipped with kitchenette and a fridge, that's great. Be aware there are only 6 free parking always full, otherwise you pay 3 euro for the night for another parking. There was unfortunately a sewer smell in the bathroom. Overall, it was a good place for a short stay, staff was nice. Bed too soft for us.
Excellent room size, facilities and price! Staff very friendly. Great location
The hotel is good for people who want to cook for themselves, supermarket is available in walking distance. The room is a little small for long stays, and if you stay during a heatwave, you'll have to borrow a fan. Breakfast is good and the staff is friendly.
Located within a short driving distance from town, but hardly anything from a short walking distance. Room size was OK, and everything was working. Like that there's a dispenser in the lobby where we can get aerated water. Ample parking fee for a reasonable daily cost.
