Fascinating and well preserved ruins. The signs inside the museum and outside in the ruins are in French only, which is a bit of a shame, but with Google Translate / Google Gemini, that's no big problem, just a minor inconvenience.

Amazing place to go if you love ancient history a very small musesum with ancient ruins on the outside of Roman baths and amphitheatre. 5 euro for one entrance but can be combined with other tickets for 10 euro. Only takes about 30min to 1 hour to go through everything. Take the number 5 bus to get their from the centre of nice stops right outside of the amphitheatre.

Just to clarify, this place is not shut and abandoned. You just need to pay €5 and enter through the museum. The area of the Roman baths is accessible. However, like most important historical sites, you can't walk on the actual ruins themselves and have to follow the laid put path as they are trying to persevere them. The Roman Amphitheatre is currently off limits as it is currently undergoing restoration work and would not be safe to visit.

This came as a surprise. I wanted to see the Matisse Museum but they had loaned all the works out. After coming all this way I was pleasantly surprised by the ruins. Very inexpensive. The signage was good and we liked the accompanying videos explaining things in greater detail.

Such an amazing place! Must see if you are interested in history and archeology or architecture!

Very cool i was impressed and felt a spiritual awakening as the spirits of the ancient romans contacted me there.

Small ruins free with Nice museum pass. If you have seen other Roman ruins this is nothing special. Roman Arena in park across from entrance (free) is nice. Also visit Matisse Museum and Monastery Cimiez which is nearby:

Wonderfully well preserved and displayed ruins that really are worth going to see. It's quite cheap and transport up and down is frequent so definitely take time to come visit.
