Very bad experience. The food is okay (though not great), however, the service is very poor — the staff are rude and disrespectful to customers. I will not come back, and I do not recommend this place to anyone who wants to spend a calm evening in a nice atmosphere.

Good West African flavors. Nice portion. Decent service. Was a bit surprisingly and too bad they ran out of piment, but otherwise a very lovely meal!

Good spot for dinner if you are into west African cuisine. The interior design is very nice, staff is friendly and the music playlist contributed to the own unique atmosphere of the place. To be honest it is not the best food I’ve tried taste wise, if you are familiar with the cuisine you won’t be mesmerised. Most items were ok but some flaws here and there disappointed me. The fish which was a way too dry (over cooked on one side), the aloko was fine but I prefer it juicier, I also wish sides portions were a bit bigger. We still spent a good time and might probably come back for lunch.

I had dinner at Terrubi with my family on a busy weeknight. The gourmet dishes are amazing and there are many options for vegetarians and vegans (generous portions). I loved the mocktails and the names which are original. The ambiance was very nice too and I loved the Afrobeats playing. The owner is very friendly and his staff is professional and polite. The interior design is also very nice, I loved the portraits of historical African/African American figures, African masks and the basket wall decor. I look forward to eating at Terrubi again, next time I’m in Metz!

Terrubi is one of those places you can always count on for a great meal. The team makes you feel right at home with their kindness and hospitality. I’ve gone back several times and it’s been wonderful each time. If you’re curious about West African cuisine, this is the perfect place to start.

From Far the best African Restaurant I went to in France. The place looks incredibly nice ☺️ The food was amazing ☺️ The waiters were very very nice ☺️ I highly recommend.

I ordered a beef dish and pointed it on the menu because I don’t speak french. They gave me a similar dish with chicken. We ordered another dish with grilled chicken leg, and it tasted like they warmed up the dish prepared much earlier. With the price we paid, I expect a freshly grilled meat. The overall experience was ok.

Reserve a table before going, as this place is quite popular over there. Best african food I have eaten in ages, staff was very friendly and knew what they were doing even though it was quite busy when we came in. Beef Mafe was excellent !
