Avis
It was a very large shop spread over three floors, including the basement, ground floor, and first floor. There was an impressive variety of baby and children’s furniture, as well as accessories, and the prices were quite affordable. For example, the prices of plates and cups seemed cheaper than those at M&S, and the selection was excellent. There were also many summer items, such as sun loungers and tableware, which made me want to buy several things. On one side of the basement floor, there were discounted furniture items, mirrors, and lighting, so it is definitely worth checking there if you would like to find even better bargains. The quality of the items did not look like cheaply imported products from a particular country. It also seems that there are two more branches, so I would recommend it to anyone who is interested.
You have lots of products to choose from specially when it comes to decorating and stuff for the kitchen. The only problem is that it’s hard to find a parking spot nearby
Manon, the cashier took a jab at me. I left. Simmering with anger. The furniture is great.
Ok, I actually like Maisons du Monde's products in general. But the customer service here is a joke. We asked two different employees to please help us find the bedside tables that we saw online were present in their store... they informed us that they did not have them... except that we went looking around the store and found them. Thanks for nothing. On top of that, we paid for a spice rack online, received an email to come pick it up, only to be told at the store that it was actually out of stock... AND we still haven't got our money back yet.
Great store & nice staff. Purchased: Montreal sofa in grey. Super easy to put together (I did it alone). Very comfortable, firm, and looks great! However, rethink if you are getting a delivery. . When I met them out front of my building they started complaining about how they didn't want to be doing their job (Maison du monde staff also told me the shipping included them bringing my furniture up all 5 floors). When they realized it was the 5th floor he shoved items into my arms and told me to take them upstairs... also asked if I could go get them something from carefour... Or a tip. Seriously?! More complaining and scratches all over my floor, they left my apartment a complete mess with trash everywhere. Needless to say, I will NEVER be getting anything delivered from them again. Maison du monde: I recommend you cancel your contracts with your delivery people and switch to Gégé. They are awesome and don't complain about what they are getting paid to do.
Fairly good array of houseware goods, from glasses to lights to pillows. The store is organised by colours, whereas I would have prefered it to be arranged by item type. Staff are generally helpful. There's an option to order items to be delivered to the store for pick-up, which is good, as they sometimes have limited stock. The return/exchange policy is good and they don't hassle you about it.
Went there to look at beds and frames. Unfortunately the range was fairly limited. There were other household products of interest but wonder how they complete with the likes of IKEA on range and price
I bought a canapé from mansion du monde and the delivery timing is excellent. Beautiful stuff and very nice employee ❤️
