GARONNE OUVRAGE

Came here with seven colleagues in Dec 2025. Initially things went well, quickly seated, and drinks arrived quickly. Then, for some reason, our group was ignored and no menus offered or orders taken. Another table arrived after us but had their starters before we even had a menu! We arrived at 19:30 and at 20:25 the waitress then asked us to move tables before finally deciding to give us a menu! Just unnecessary and just poor service. When we did finally order the food arrived in reasonable time and was generally OK if not exceptional. Some things better than others. The risotto was excellent, some things a bit bland. The Rum Baba was not soaked for long enough so was very dry. My overriding memory of the place though is just being ignored by the waitress for so long!

Great recommendation from my hotel. Manager and staff were cheerful and friendly, able to seat me with minimum delay. Food amazing and I was able to order something I spotted in the kitchen not on the menu!

We ordered 7 different kind of dishes and everything tastes amazing ! I heard from my french colleague that this restaurant is specialized in meat, they truly live up to their name. I would definitely comeback once I had a chance to visit Toulouse.

Horrible experience—completely foreigner unfriendly. The staff is rushed, careless, and dismissive. I clearly ordered one dish, but the waiter brought out something completely different and unordered. Trying to communicate with them was exhausting and ruined my entire night. They do not care about travelers at all. Save your money and avoid this place.

Excellent restaurant. Great food, menu has enough choice, service was good, wine was outstanding and the price very reasonable. If you look for a good meal in a nice setting for an affordable price, please go here! We were with 13 and they coped very well. We had a 3 course meal, good wine, etc and paid €60 per person. Thank you, we will definitely come back. PS: Please put chocolate mousse on the menu!

Excellent as usual! Their lunch menu during the week is very affordable, delicious and original. Love it!

Brilliantly convivial atmosphere. Locally sourced wines are delicious and fairly priced. Service is very good and very friendly. Special mention to Christian an 'La Rochelle' who made my sole drinking moment even more enjoyable
